Description: This lovely newly married couple approached us with a strong design concept in mind and a tight budget for their HDB interior design and renovation project. Before meeting us at our office, the couple had already fallen deeply in love with a mid-century pencil legged radio cabinet console for their TV console and many pieces of furniture of the mid-century vintage period.

After our initial discussions, we gleaned that the couple wanted something simple and easy to decorate with their eclectic selection of ornaments and furniture. We carefully planned the lighting design and controlled the colour palette of the entire apartment to ensure that the design allowed the couple a wide variety of furniture and decorative ornaments and accents. In the final design, it was mutually agreed with the couple that a light coloured brick veneer feature wall lined the wall  behind TV console in the living room and track lighting illuminate this feature.

A custom made slim profile shoe cabinet with ventilation panel flanked the foyer corridor for the comprehensive shoe collection the couple have.  Overhead, soft ceiling cove lighting was created to illuminate the living and dining space to create a clean and soft ambient.

In the master bedroom a custom made slim profile dressing table with a custom made wall mounted foldable mirror (no visible mirrors for Feng Sui reasons) lines the entrance corridor to the queen sized bed. A Momento painted finished wall provides a warm accent wall behind the bed.

All electrical wiring and curtain tracks were cleverly concealed for a clean finish.

The finished apartment is a beautiful canvas that the young couple could decorate with eye popping art and eclectic furniture.
